Judge — “Is the quality sufficient?”¶
Mindset: Judge. Evidence from Verify determines the ruling. Verify findings: verify.md
Universal Checklist¶
| # | Check | Status | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | DoD met? | ✅ | verify.md §Acceptance Criteria and DoF Verification independently passes AC-1–AC-10 and all 17 DoF classes; §Verification Log checks all 8/8 execution files. |
| 2 | Purpose Check + design soundness | ✅ | (a) Master HL §1 requires that “The public entry is deliberately small” and names the English root plus .tfw/README.md as the Project North Star, while NS1 protects “purposeful, human-governed continuity”; the three bounded doorways serve that contract and avoid the material harm of multilingual drift, lost source authority, or onboarding that lets agent participation be mistaken for legitimate authority. (b) The design follows master P1–P9: one semantic North Star, human authority, selected Trace, domain/provider independence, proportional Editions and assurance, refutability, subtraction, and explicit provenance; it adds no adjacent canon, BoK, registry, or visual scope. |
| 3 | Tech debt documented | ✅ | RF §6 and §10 accurately record the absent Iteration 2 target as a pre-existing shared-checkout limitation and live-URL/language-polish limits as non-blocking; none is a newly introduced Phase B debt item requiring promotion. |
| 4 | Style & standards | ✅ | verify.md V1–V8 and UTF-8/link checks show valid Markdown, stable identifiers, exact commands, direct prose, no placeholders/mojibake, and canonical artifact naming; minor RU/KK editorial alternatives are below the approved materiality bar. |
| 5 | Observations collected | ✅ | RF §6 contains the one executor observation that survived as a truthful baseline note; RF §10 separately records untested live URLs and taste-only language alternatives without presenting them as passed evidence. |
| 6 | RF completeness (§7–9) | ✅ | RF §7 states no human-only Fact Candidates, §8 no new Strategic Insights, and §9 no useful diagram; each absence is reasoned and appropriate for a narrow documentation doorway. |
| 7 | Evidence completeness — does it exist? | ✅ | verify.md §Evidence Verification: all 10 TS Evidence fields carry the prescribed N/A classification, and all 3 RF-referenced observational artifacts exist and cover their stated gates. |
| 8 | Evidence sufficiency — does it establish the claim? | ✅ | Independently reproduced Git-object counts, blob lineage, normalized board hash, local target/anchor scan, strict UTF-8 scan, scope diff, and source comparisons establish the repository-local document claims; the evidence explicitly does not establish live HTTP availability or human reception, which the RF does not claim and the TS does not require. |
| 9 | Backward compatibility | ✅ | Consumers of public navigation retain the brand, exact NS1–NS3, Task Board, Quick Start, Editions, conventions, attribution, commands, and paths; non-TFW-55 board tail is byte-equal after normalization, and localized doorways add no competing board. |
| 10 | Safety | ✅ | The target is documentation-only, introduces no secret/credential, executable behavior, destructive operation, or irreversible migration, and does not grant agents authority; the diff is limited to the eight declared execution files. |
Rows 7 and 8 are intentionally distinct: row 7 establishes that the required classification ledger and referenced artifacts exist; row 8 establishes that their signals prove the bounded repository-local claims and no more.
Purpose Check — Additional Tests¶
- Excess and adjacency: no excess. The implementation creates only the three doorway surfaces and required Phase B trace/evidence; it does not enter BoK, research, specification, glossary, registry, roadmap, visual, or later product scope.
- Deferral confession: no deferred work was shipped early. The future approved BoK and live/human reception questions remain explicitly outside this phase.
- Materiality: the prevented harms—semantic drift, false authority, and loss of a usable continuation route—directly affect the North Star's value; the remaining wording alternatives do not.
The baseline clauses and Project North Star are mutually satisfiable: the compact English source contract, derived localizations, human authority, and proportional implementation boundaries reinforce rather than contradict one another.
Contradictions with KNOWLEDGE.md¶
| # | Knowledge item | RF / implementation claim | Contradiction? |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | D2; root/essay surface separation | root is a doorway; .tfw/README.md owns the canonical essay |
No |
| 2 | D35, D40; domain breadth and evidence honesty | domain-neutral examples; no live/human guarantee | No |
| 3 | D52–D60; proportional Editions and bounded capability claims | smallest sufficient Edition, Assisted fallback, no autonomy/correctness promise | No |
| 4 | philosophy/process/convention topic items cited by the HL and ONB | human authority, selected Trace, subtraction, stable naming, no filler | No |
No implementation statement contradicts verified project knowledge. The known missing Iteration 2 trace is disclosed as source availability, not silently treated as a verified knowledge item.
Fact Candidate Review¶
RF §7 correctly reports none. The reviewer learned no new human-only domain or stakeholder fact; all observations above are discoverable from repository artifacts or Git and therefore do not qualify.
Checkpoint¶
Self-check:
- [x] Every universal checklist row has specific evidence.
- [x] No row is skipped or marked N/A without reasoning.
- [x] Row 2(a) is answered against the contract-baseline master HL and Project North Star, with a quoted clause and material harm in one sentence.
- [x] Rows 7 and 8 use different questions and different reasoning.
- [x] DoD assessment cites the independent
verify.mdresults. - [x] RF §§7–9 were checked for presence and quality.
- [x]
KNOWLEDGE.mdand topic files were cross-referenced; no contradiction was found. - [x] RF Fact Candidates were challenged against the Human-Only Test.
