1. Understanding¶
Phase A.2 preserves the approved problem-led Project North Star while restoring the smallest coherent meaning required by the owner-approved eight-value and four-outcome disposition contract. It then repairs only active consumers whose current instructions or contract citations resolve to deleted or semantically wrong items. The work must leave the old Phase A RF/REVIEW/APPROVE untouched, preserve the Coordinator worktree's owner image insertion and all parallel TFW-60/research state, keep the North Star at no more than 4,200 descriptive whitespace-delimited words without expanding toward the ceiling, create ONB/EV/RF only, and stop for a separate /tfw-review.

3. Questions (blocking — cannot proceed without answers)¶
No blocking questions. The owner explicitly approved Amendment A7, both bounded retirements, the complete Phase A.2 HL/TS, the 4,200-word maximum, autonomous execution within the frozen scope, and latest-live-state reconciliation. The current owned patch is cleanly separable from every foreign hunk described below.
4. Recommendations (suggestions, not blocking)¶
- Keep the implementation in narrow linear commits: onboarding/control transition; North Star and current semantic consumers; workflow gates and exact copies; final EV/RF/control transition.
- Treat the final Coordinator recapture as a new observation, not as permission to normalize foreign state. If a foreign path changes, classify the delta and prove it remains owner-authored.
- Test integration in a disposable copy of the exact live Coordinator files; do not run a write-capable Git or filesystem operation in the Coordinator worktree.
5. Risks Found (edge cases, potential issues not in TS)¶
- The Coordinator worktree may continue changing while this execution runs. The final comparison therefore needs both start/final manifests and a reconciliation row for any independently advanced foreign path.
.tfw/README.mdis an overlapping path even though the owner image hunk is isolated at the top. Integration must prove that exact four-line hunk survives and report the integrated word count, not only this clean worktree's count.README.mdis also an overlapping path: Phase A.2 owns only the TFW-55 row while the live TFW-60 row is foreign. Broad staging or whole-file replacement would violate the contract.- Markdown anchor checks must distinguish HTML IDs from renderer-generated slugs; the stable North Star references should use the existing literal
ns1–ns3IDs and new literal IDs for values/success criteria.
6. Inconsistencies with Code (spec vs reality)¶
- The Phase HL planning snapshot recorded the untracked TFW-60 Phase A draft as SHA-256
146828bfe6caa7b2c56b5813dcf26df78377fe2f; the live handoff snapshot is767924202e4a75a9790d94628ddcd2b394c18fd70e6ef6fba0c087c643f7e382. This is expected parallel progress, not a blocker: the TS explicitly says latest file content wins and the draft remains read-only. - The configured build commands are echo placeholders. Phase A.2 must use the TS-defined semantic, link, hash, UTF-8, copy, scope, and integration gates and record that substitution honestly in RF §4.
- No specification/implementation conflict requires scope change. Current workflow copies are byte-identical before execution, and the current owner image hunk is spatially separate from the approved North Star edits.

No new PV item was found that changes the approved scope. TFW-25 and TFW-32 are already promoted into the Phase A.2 derivation and TS disposition contract.
